“Native
Woman-Ogitchidaw Equay" Represents the beauty that comes out of
being Native, and the quiet strength of native women. Black & White
Print. Steve Blake has been diagnosed with Kartangeners Syndrome,
a condition in which the inside of his lungs are backwards, the
opposite of a normal human lung. Steve's lungs have been
deteriorating yearly, resulting in a much needed double lung
transplant. Steve has also been diagnosed with Dextachardia, a
condition in which his heart is on the right side of his body. He
suffers from Sidus Inversus, a condition in which his organs are
on the opposite side of his body. Steve Blake is 49 years old. He is
a Grass Dancer and a Hoop Dancer, and is also a singer in Native
ceremonies. The American Indian Movement is making an appeal for
donations for the successful transplant surgery which Steve underwent this winter.Contact "American Indian Movement”
